İ.Renay Onur is the General Manager and Board Member of Spor İstanbul, a sport company serving İstanbul citizens with the mission of raising the awareness and love for the sport and create a habit of doing sport regularly by over 250 facilities and 2500 employees around the city.

He has a BS in mechanical engineering yet worked as a corporate finance/business development professional across Turkey and Eastern Europe for 18 years. He is proud of running ultra-marathons and likes to attend open water swimming races.

Mr. Onur is a social entrepreneur and an Ashoka Fellow since 2014. He co-founded Adım Adım (www.adimadim.org) as an “umbrella” initiative in 2007, with a vision to become a model social organisation, enabling individuals and organizations to donate to NGOs through organized sports activities and to act as an incubator for charity running. Also co-founded Açık Açık to increase the transparency and accountability among NGO’s in Turkey. Mr. Onur is a member of the Board of Greenpace Mediterranean and a member of Organization Commitee of Olympic Games as well.
