Giuseppe Zammarchi begins his career at Arthur Andersen in 1997. After 3 years he joins UniCredit’s Investor Relations team, covering relationships with institutional investors and equity analysts. Always in UniCredit, he becomes responsible for the Executive Communications team and then joins the staff of the Group Chief Risk Officer, being directly responsible for the project aimed at strengthening Group’s risk culture. In 2017 he joins the Group Sustainability team that he leads starting from November of the same year. Today he is responsible for the unit named ESG Metrics, Policies and Disclosure, directly reporting to the Head of Strategy & ESG, which is in charge of supporting the top management in the definition of the Group’s impact measurement framework, management of policies in sensitive sectors, stakeholder dialogue and the preparation of UniCredit’s Integrated Report and TCFD annual report.

Giuseppe Zammarchi holds a degree in Business Management from Bocconi University.
